MOLTY FOAM’S LATEST TVC FAILS TO LEAVE AN IMPRESSION IN SPITE OF HAVING BIG STARS

Molty Foam has done it again! Another year, another TVC and believe it or not, they are still hammering the father daughter relationship! There is a daughter, there is a father, and there is a wedding! The difference? The gigantic star power! Yes, ladies and gentlemen there is none other than Pakistan’s starlet Mahira Khan! Her father? Adnan Sidiqqui! About time the lad has started picking up roles suitable for his age!

On the execution side, the advert is a cash cow! Grandeur is over flowing in every shot and there are forced emotions (something the Pakistani Advertising Community is adept at). Yes, a father daughter relationship is intensely powerful and yes the insight of a nostalgic father at his daughter’s wedding is apt but the connection with the product is weak, as it has always been in case of Molty Foam’s communication. Cherry on top is that the product shots themselves are forced as well!
